Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality patient care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Obtain information from patients and families to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reasons for seeking healthcare.
* Take vital signs, perform behavioral health screenings, and document patient information in the health record.
* Participate in promoting patient compliance with health activities in accordance with RESPECT-Mil.
* Coordinate and facilitate follow-up care, communicate relevant information according to the medical plan of care, and document accordingly in the health record.
* Provide individualized nursing care to patients based on the physician's medical care plan, nursing assessment, and physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.

Requirements

* Current license to practice as a practical or vocational nurse in a State, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
* At least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
