Job Title: Production Engineer

ERG Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of engineering duties in support of material and end-item production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering calculations to support process design, equipment configuration, and process condition establishment decisions.
  • Analyze existing or planned equipment and processes for optimization, changes, and maintenance.
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment and facility drawings, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders internal to and external to the engineering team to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering or related field (minimum GPA of 3.0).
  • 3+ years of manufacturing development experience, including starting up new processes and product lines, Cartridge Actuated Device (CAD) manufacturing, Propellant Actuated Device (PAD) manufacturing, small parts manufacturing, and/or other relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation to engage with personnel and seek out paths toward solutions when original problem statements may seem vague.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), meticulous attention to detail, highly motivated, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with limited oversight.
