About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Professional to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents.

Job Description
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and nutrition.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, understanding their unique preferences and personalities.
  • Notify management of changes in condition and recommend adjustments in care and service levels.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their ISP and demographic profile.
Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:
  • Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
  • Partner with community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies.
  • Invite, Encourage, and Assist (IEA) residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on ISP and demographic profile.
Qualifications:
  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or GED accepted; may be required per state regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation based on geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, retirement savings plans, employee assistant program/discount program, paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay, daily pay, tuition reimbursement, and discretionary/non-discretionary bonuses.

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
