Position Overview:
We are in search of a bilingual (Korean) Patient Care Coordinator to enhance our patient service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the patient journey through the four-stage process at Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine, ensuring a smooth transition to completion.
- Maintain a compassionate, professional demeanor when interacting with patients.
- Respond swiftly to inquiries from patients and their families.
- Develop alternative care plans when patients face challenges in adhering to treatment protocols.
- Address and resolve patient concerns effectively.
- Stay informed about the outstanding service capabilities offered by Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine.
- Handle processing of orders, forms, applications, and patient requests.
- Document all patient interactions, transactions, feedback, and complaints accurately.
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues as necessary to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide insights on improving the efficiency of the patient service process.
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and deliver professional support.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Korean is essential.
- Experience with Health Insurance Verification, Personal Injury, or Workers' Compensation is required.
- A degree is preferred but not mandatory, particularly in fields such as sales, telemarketing, or business.
- Completion of relevant coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be beneficial.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and NextGen software is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster positive interdepartmental relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
