Position Overview

Landmark Hospital of Cape Girardeau is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to enhance our professional healthcare team. Our facilities are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality care to our patients.

Incentive: A Sign-On Bonus of up to $15,000 is available for full-time candidates based on experience.

Work Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including both day and night options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a vital resource across various patient care settings, maintaining frequent interactions with patients, particularly in critical situations.
  • Engage in emergency response teams, develop patient care strategies, and perform necessary invasive procedures.
  • Administer respiratory medications and manage therapeutic gases effectively.
  • Assess and interpret vital signs and physiological data, taking appropriate actions based on analysis.
  • Monitor patient equipment and respond to pathophysiological changes as needed.
  • Exercise independent judgment in various clinical tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) License is required.
  • A minimum of one year of hospital experience, preferably in critical care.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred (training available).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on teamwork and goal achievement.
  • Professional demeanor with a compassionate approach.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
