Inland Technologies is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our airport environmental compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy and light-duty vehicles, including diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance inspections on equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize company Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to log work orders, track parts usage, and store records.
- Travel to various airport locations, including Newark, LGA, and JFK, to provide repair and maintenance services.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and support staff to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of previous experience performing general mechanical repairs preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass Federal Government requirements to obtain Airport Badges (EWR, LGA, and JFK).
- Direct working knowledge of air brakes and experience diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills and ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to manipulate multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.
This is a physically demanding role that requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and humidity. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights in excess of 20 feet.
