Fleet Diesel Mechanic

At Performance Foodservice, we're looking for a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain diesel engines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform routine maintenance on trucks and trailers to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems quickly
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations to protect our drivers and the public
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance to track our fleet's performance and identify areas for improvement
