Job Description

ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a seasoned software development professional to lead our team of engineers in designing, implementing, and deploying complex software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, as well as experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of software solutions for complex customer problems
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Collaborate with other engineers, scientists, and leads to design and implement software solutions
  • Manage and ensure a well-organized CI/CD pipeline for product lines
  • Develop and execute technology vision, planning, and roadmaps
  • Design and develop software solutions using object-oriented languages for different OS architectures
  • Work with various types of engineers to develop end-to-end products
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as DFARS
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and standardization
  • Experience leading a team of developers on numerous efforts
  • Comfortable with conducting oral presentations
  • Experience overseeing software lifecycles
  • History of successfully delivering production-level software
  • Strong understanding and practical application in CM and versioning
  • Experience in designing and executing CI/CD pipeline
  • Comfortable performing development and integration in languages such as C#, C/C++, JAVA, TypeScript, and Python
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in automated build tools such as Gitlab, Bamboo, Jenkins
  • Worked on and/or lead Agile development teams (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience in developing real-time signal processing algorithms
  • Experience full-stack developer
  • Experience in Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Fisheye/Crucible
  • Understand Containers and Kubernetes
  • Use of and understands when/where/how to use VMs
  • Worked with varying types of OS architecture and the integration of efforts across them
