Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Portland, OR. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing consultation, training, and behavioral evaluations to individuals with academic and behavioral deficits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and educational assessments to identify the function of challenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with school staff and provide training to implement effective applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Investigate concerns and provide coaching and disciplinary action when appropriate.
  • Develop behavior goals according to the needs and abilities of the student.
Requirements:
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or related field.
  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools.
