In this role, you will work closely with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate patience, compassion, and a strong ability to collaborate within a team setting. Despite the comprehensive training provided, prior experience is not required. This role involves working with children who may exhibit unpredictable or confrontational behavior, so candidates must display resilience and physical capabilities, including the ability to perform various physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills to children with autism
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Provide support and guidance to children with autism in a variety of settings
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Passion for assisting children with autism
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check
  • Physical capability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding
