We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Neuro Rehab Coach Supervisor at SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital - Neuro Transitional Center in St. Louis, MO.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. As a Neuro Rehab Coach Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Neuro Rehabilitation Coaches, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care. You will also assist with carrying out treatment plans, protect the wellbeing and safety of all patients, and provide education to patients, families, and coworkers.
Responsibilities- Supervise staff on assigned shifts, providing guidance and communication to Neuro Transitional Center Leadership or RN/Administrator On Call as needed.
- Follow through and supervise Neuro Rehab Coaches on patient plan of care, collaborating with other transitional team members to promote education and maintain patient engagement.
- Coordinate with NTC leadership to ensure appropriate staffing levels according to staffing guidelines and patient needs, reporting any issues to NTC supervisor or Administrator on Call.
- Assist patients with meal planning, food preparation, grocery shopping, and suite management tasks as assigned.
- Responsible for coordinating patient transportation and ensuring transportation policies regarding vehicle maintenance, logs, and fueling are followed.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current State Driver's License in good standing.
- Certified BLS completion required; see CPR Requirement Guidelines for New Hires.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a residential care facility or rehabilitation environment, preferably working with brain injury populations.
- Experience as a medication aide and ability to delegate and problem solve effectively.
