  • Operate Vehicles Safely: Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport individuals and goods across campus.
  • Adhere to Traffic Regulations: Adhere to all traffic regulations and laws to ensure a safe and efficient transportation experience.
  • Assist with Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading transported items, ensuring that all items are properly secured and transported safely.
  • Perform Vehicle Maintenance: Periodically check the operating condition of vehicles and notify the appropriate team members when repairs or maintenance are needed.
  • Refuel Vehicles: Refuel vehicles as required to ensure they are always ready for use.
  • Perform Related Responsibilities: Perform other related responsibilities as required to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record are required for this position.
  • Experience Driving a Van or Truck: One year of experience driving a van, truck, or equivalent vehicle is required for this position.
  • Defensive Driving Training: Positions in this classification may require eight hours of defensive driving training, CPR certification, and/or the completion of a body mechanics course.
  • Lifting Ability: The ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required for this position.
