POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing inventory management within a secure environment, processing client orders through sales documentation, interpreting technical drawings, and collaborating with a team to achieve exceptional product quality. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to inventory accuracy, complemented by a collaborative spirit. This position is hourly and reports directly to the Operations Manager. Candidates must successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with personal computing.
  • Must possess a smartphone with internet capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing inventory of small components.
  • Capability to assemble products as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOM).
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, including:
  • Experience in welding, reading schematics, and/or technical drawings.
  • This position requires various physical activities, including sitting, standing, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with most items weighing between 2 and 20 pounds. Team lifting may be necessary for items weighing up to 90 pounds.
  • Willingness to wear safety glasses, safety footwear, and any other PPE mandated by the company.
