The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring precise inventory documentation, overseeing variances, and generating analytical reports. This position involves reconciling stock record entries, identifying inventory discrepancies, and adhering to established internal control protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory precision and oversight
  • Generate comprehensive inventory reports

  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances
  • Document and oversee all inventory items
  • Conduct counts of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock
  • Align inventories with office documentation
  • Create a list of depleted or defective stock
  • Gather data on the receipt or distribution of materials and equipment

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Required: 1-3 years of pertinent experience
  • Required: Proficient word processing and typing abilities
