We are seeking a highly skilled Land Survey Technician to join our team at Professional Engineering Consultants. This role will involve working directly with the Crew Chief to complete all types of land survey functions.

About the Job

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on various land survey projects, including construction staking, topographic design surveys, underground utility investigations, boundary surveys, and aerial mapping. The successful candidate will operate GPS equipment, robotic total stations, terrestrial LIDAR scanners, handheld collectors, and automatic levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Crew Chief to complete all types of land survey functions.
  • Operate various survey equipment, including GPS devices, total stations, and LIDAR scanners.
  • Loading and unloading survey equipment and supplies in preparation for daily work.
  • Participating in construction staking, topographic design surveys, underground utility investigations, boundary surveys, and aerial mapping.
  • Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
  • Licensed to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • At least one year of experience in surveying or related training preferred (training provided for qualified candidates).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to possess above-average mathematical knowledge and operate handheld calculators, tablets, and computers.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 based on industry standards and location. We offer competitive compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.
