Our team of over 350 professionals hold professional engineering licenses across all 50 states. We work on various projects nationwide and globally, from highways to hospitals, water towers to wind turbines, stadiums to sidewalks, and everything in between.
We are seeking a Land Survey Technician to join our Oklahoma City, Tulsa, or Wichita office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Crew Chief to complete land survey functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Work directly with the Crew Chief to complete all types of land survey tasks.
- Operate GPS equipment, robotic total stations, terrestrial LIDAR scanners, handheld collectors, and automatic levels.
- Loading and unloading survey equipment and supplies in preparation for daily work.
- Participating in construction staking, topographic design surveys, underground utility investigation of storm drains and sewers, boundary surveys, aerial mapping, and more.
- Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
- Answering questions and providing information to the public concerning surveying activities.
- Tracking and maintaining survey supplies such as stakes and marking equipment; ensuring safety devices are present and in use as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid driver's license.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 1 year of surveying experience or related training (we will train qualified candidates).
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree or higher.
- Possess above-average mathematical knowledge and ability to operate handheld calculators, tablets, and computers.
- Good penmanship skills.
- Able to learn new concepts quickly, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions relating to practical situations.
We offer competitive salaries, with an estimated annual salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 based on location and experience.
