Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care by promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License (if practicing in Washington state).
  • At least one year of nursing experience.
