Position Overview

The Nutritional Services Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as center policies and procedures, under the direction of the Dietary Services Manager. This ensures that high-quality food and dining services are consistently delivered.

Position Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler's Card, Serve Safe Training, or other certifications as mandated by state or local health authorities
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Prior culinary experience is preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Experience in post-acute care or healthcare settings is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
