Job Title: EHS Technician

Imerys, a global leader in mineral solutions, is seeking an EHS Technician to support all aspects of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering EHS compliance programs, conducting regulatory analysis, and ensuring compliance with permits and licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer EHS compliance and training programs at MSHA and OSHA facilities.
  • Conduct accident investigations and assist site leadership with incident management.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections of facilities and support corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and participate in inspections as needed.
  • Actively participate in the Site Safety Committee.
  • Establish and maintain digital filing systems.

Requirements:

  • Prefer Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience in mining or heavy industry.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State H&S regulations.
  • Travel - 10%.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and share in company results.
