Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a school setting.

Position Details

The selected candidate will be employed as a full-time contracted professional through ProCare Therapy, with a commitment to support students' mental health and educational needs.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time: 35-38 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Standard hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Single school site
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' strengths and challenges, including learning disabilities and emotional disorders.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional and behavioral concerns, offering coping strategies to enhance mental well-being.
  • Assist in crisis intervention for students and the school community during critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop effective strategies and interventions for students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Design and implement prevention programs and workshops on topics such as bullying, stress management, and mental health awareness.
  • Support the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans for students with disabilities.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
  • Active School Psychologist license in Arizona.
  • Arizona IVP fingerprint card.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Interview Process
  • Initial 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter.
  • 20-30 minute virtual interview with the school district.
  • Offer typically extended within 24-48 hours following the virtual interview.
