Inventory Management Specialist

This position is responsible for maintaining and developing procedures to ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy, following FIFO methodologies to minimize shrink. The ideal candidate will support cycle counting, identify variances, and investigate root causes for OS&D incidents.
The selected individual will be responsible for reviewing Overage, Shortage, and Damage Forms (OS&D Form) completed by receivers for completeness and accuracy. They will also investigate OS&D incidents, develop corrective actions, and communicate detailed information for potential loss of inventory to the CFO and Warehouse Operations.
This role requires a general understanding of processing procedures in a high-volume warehouse/production facility and demonstrated leadership ability. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the produce industry or related field and possess excellent communication skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.
Able to manually move 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally, with constant standing and walking for periods over eight hours. Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
