Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Balance and Reconcile Bank Drawers: Accurately balance and reconcile bank drawers to ensure the accuracy of our cash handling processes.
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests while handling cash transactions, including cashing chips and gaming tokens, personal checks, and travelers checks.
  • Foreign Currency Exchange and Redemption: Redeem foreign currency and process marker buy-back transactions while maintaining accurate exchange rates.
  • Transaction Processing and Record Keeping: Process all Keno cash transactions below $500 and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Assist other Cashiers within the Cage/Credit area as needed and provide support to ensure the smooth operation of our cash handling processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, with some college courses in banking, finance, or a related area preferred. Cash handling experience is also preferred.
  • Special Qualifications: Effective communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, as well as respond to common inquiries from employees or guests.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The noise level is usually loud, and the casino environment is typically smoky.
