Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout their dental journey.
2. Conducting thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
3. Taking and processing x-rays and diagnostic assessments using advanced technology.
4. Providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
5. Utilizing Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring seamless office workflow.
6. Maintaining treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
7. Managing supply and inventory levels, expediting orders as needed.
8. Partnering with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office efficiency.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
1. A working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
2. Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
3. If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

This role requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
