Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building and Grounds Maintenance Professional to join our team at Boyer Trucks. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our property, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the grounds and facility to ensure a clean and well-maintained appearance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Operate a forklift and other heavy equipment as needed.
  • Support facility technician repairs, including repairs to roof, faucets, sewer, plumbing, boiler lines, heating and ventilation systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
  • CDL Required.
  • Ability to efficiently use various power and hand tools.
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities and constant interruptions.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Building and Grounds Maintenance Professional.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder to climb on various structures, including rooftops.
  • Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, the ability to reach with hands and arms, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Requires working in some outdoor areas not shielded from the environment.
  • Requires working in some areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $28 - $32.
