G&A Partners is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join its team in Redmond, WA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the property in good condition, overseeing outside service providers, and assisting in repairs as required.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, escalators, and HVAC systems to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures to prevent water damage and ensure proper sanitation.
- Repair and paint drywall as needed to maintain the property's aesthetic appeal.
- Repair and replace doors, locks, and levers to ensure secure access to the property.
- Install property upgrades, such as retrofitting light fixtures and decorative items, to enhance the property's value and appeal.
- Oversee outside contractors when on property to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Comply with all safety regulations and identify property defects that could pose a safety hazard to occupants.
- Obtain bids and quotes as needed to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Assist with the annual budget by providing estimates and recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
- Work closely with tenants to address issues and repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- 10 years of experience in construction, engineering, and property operations.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret complex technical documents.
- Experience in critical system environments and knowledge of real estate property management.
- Ability to read and interpret complex tenant leases, real estate-related agreements, and construction contracts.
