Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at StoryPoint of Medina. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our residents and guests receive high-quality food in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve meals in a professional and courteous manner, demonstrating a genuine concern for our residents and guests.
  • Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Perform side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned, ensuring that our dining areas are well-maintained and organized.
  • Ensure that residents and guests receive their food orders promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professional behavior, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Wait on tables and assist other staff members as needed, ensuring that our residents and guests receive exceptional service.
  • Tactfully and professionally handle resident concerns and complaints, providing solutions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Dining Services Standards of service, ensuring that our residents and guests receive the highest level of service.
Requirements
  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service, and consistently display an attitude that fosters a teamwork environment.
Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. Employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
