**Job Summary**

As a Field Installation Specialist at Source Global, PBC, you will play a critical role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of our innovative water production systems. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of innovators and engineers who are transforming the human relationship with water.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install new water production systems, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Assist distribution partners and independent installers in the installation of our water production systems, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Perform commissioning and performance testing of deployed systems, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Submit proper project closeout documentation, including maintenance and repair records.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, equipment modifications, and troubleshooting of our water production arrays.
  • Submit daily reporting of maintenance/repair work performed, schedule updates, and project progress.
  • Commission and test panels, evaluating performance and readiness for deployment.
  • Set up and troubleshoot communications systems.
  • Test, analyze, and repair problems in our water production panels.
  • Coordinate on-site project planning, installations, commissioning, quality inspections, and performance testing.

**Requirements:**

  • 2+ consecutive years of experience in general construction, plumbing, telecommunications, solar PV, solar thermal, or equivalent work experience.
  • Complete required paperwork, including time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, and equipment-related items.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures and safety requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and up-to-date passport.
  • Experience and comfort working at heights above 40 ft.
  • Aptitude for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and roofing concepts.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple job locations running at one time.
  • Able to read and understand technical CAD drawings for site installs and SOP's.
  • Experience in efficiently mobilizing materials and scheduling crews.
  • Maintain a high work-rate for an extended day, on occasion up to 12 hours.
  • High level of professionalism and a positive demeanor.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Frequently lift 50+lbs, ability to pull, and push materials and equipment.
  • Climbing ladders, stairs, and working on rooftops in adverse weather conditions are all essential functions of this job.
