Project Engineer III and IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer III and IV to join our team at Longenecker & Associates. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activity on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and direct engineering assignments on one or more projects.
- Have technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.
- Manage technical requirements for construction, including coordinating designer- constructor interface, design changes, submittal reviews, inspection documentation, and request for information (RFI).
- Work with the integrated project team to assure substantial completion, punch-list, as built and turnover process is correctly implemented for project closeout.
- Adhere to and enforce the policies, programs, procedures, and practices with the requirements of the LANL Conduct of Engineering program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 8 years of practical work experience for Project Engineer III Position.
- Minimum of 12 years of practical work experience for Project Engineer IV Position.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Pre-placement physical examination, which includes drug screening, and inclusion in random drug testing program.
- Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
- Previous experience on DOE sites and programs.
- Engineer in Training Certificate.
- Experienced in producing designs utilizing AutoCAD tools and work processes such as MS Project or Oracle P6.
- Knowledge of DOE O 413.B-Program and LANL Engineering Standards and Conduct of Engineering principals, policies, procedures, and standards.
