Job Title: Direct Care Supervisor

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Care Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Residential Home in the Canonsburg/Cecil area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Summary:

The Direct Care Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the Residential Home staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the Residential Home staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee the care provided to individuals with special needs, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is improved.
  • Assist with caregiving duties as needed and provide support to staff members.
  • Document important information, such as fire drills, client progress notes, and medication administration.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience working in a human service, direct care, or related field.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • First Aid/CPR certified within 6 months of hire.
  • Lift, push, pull, or move up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a human service or caregiving field.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience working in a human service, social service, or related field.
