About the Role

The Coach Peer Mentor will be responsible for engaging students in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Physical Education (PE) curriculum, certifying mandatory instructional minutes, and facilitating games with students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement SEL and PE curriculum to students
  • Certify instructional minutes required for the program
  • Facilitate games and activities with students
  • Supervise student activities and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with guardians and school staff
  • Operate and navigate modern technology
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students and school staff
  • Follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, or child development
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age
  • Completion of mandatory MDR training and any district required trainings

  • Strong ability to implement SEL curriculum to students
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A can-do attitude and a natural curiosity for solving problems
  • Excellent behavioral management skills
