Football Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Football Assistant Coach to join our team at Lincoln Unified School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach in developing and implementing a comprehensive football program that promotes student-athlete development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head coach in developing and implementing game plans, practice schedules, and team strategies.
• Supervise and mentor student-athletes, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Develop and implement coaching techniques and strategies to improve team performance and player development.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective team environment.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to promote a positive and supportive team culture.

Requirements:

• Previous high school coaching experience in football is highly desired.
• Ability to develop and foster a positive relationship with students, parents, staff, and fans.
• Certifications: Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), Heat Acclimatization (Illness) Course, CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
