Job Overview

This position involves working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety regulations and ensure a secure working environment while utilizing inspection tools and equipment.
  • Support the HFI process, which includes documentation, production tracking, product disposition, rework activities, and sampling procedures.
  • Conduct daily reviews of quality records related to the continuous verification process as needed.
  • Perform audits of various quality management systems as required.
  • Assist in maintaining quality documentation, including forms, instructions, and training materials, ensuring compliance with Food/Product Safety and GMP standards.
  • Achieve proficiency in all quality inspection tasks.
  • Carry out inspections and verifications of incoming materials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the production team to coordinate SMA activities, including data collection and organization.
  • Contribute to quality assurance tasks associated with commissioning activities.
  • Establish and uphold 5S principles and high housekeeping standards.
  • Excel in a self-directed team environment.
  • Support both Plant and Corporate initiatives that require data gathering and analysis.
  • Assist in training new hires as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational and facilitation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to coach, train, and mentor team members.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, high energy, and a positive cultural fit.
  • Aptitude for solving complex issues beyond standard procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree, Technical School Certification, or a High School diploma with two years of experience in a technical quality role within manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in container manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Strong background in quality assurance and technical skills.
  • Ability to interpret quality control charts and identify corrective actions.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
