Job Overview

Volt is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Roanoke, VA.

Job Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Comply with safety policies, procedures, legal requirements, and Food Safety Standards to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Assist in new hire training to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
    • Perform daily quality records review to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Support the maintenance of quality function documentation, including records for Food/Product Safety & GMP compliance.
  • Data Analysis and Support
    • Support Plant and Corporate projects by collecting and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
    • Assist with the HFI process, including documentation, production accounting, disposition, rework activities, AQL or sampling, and the HFI areas.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the team's success.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in container manufacturing.
  • Education and Skills
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule.
    • Technical background/aptitude, with proficiency in quality control chart interpretation and corrective action identification.
