Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and customer-oriented Bartender to enhance our guest experience. The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality through genuine interactions and engaging service from the moment guests arrive until their departure. Your primary responsibility will be to understand and anticipate guests' needs while crafting exquisite beverages promptly. This role requires agility and a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests as they enter or navigate the bar area.
  • Ensure the bar is properly set up and stocked daily.
  • Guide guests through their beverage selections with detailed descriptions of the menu.
  • Accurately take orders and confirm any special requests.
  • Master the art of bartending, enhancing conversations with your knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with other restaurant staff and kitchen/bar personnel.
  • Address guest concerns and guide them to satisfactory resolutions.
  • Conclude the experience with timely and precise bill presentations.
  • Manage the requisitioning and stocking of all beverages.
  • Maintain the quality of fresh ingredients by cutting and storing garnishes and juices daily.
  • Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes while practicing portion control.
  • Input orders into the register and generate checks for guests.
  • Secure all beverages, food, and equipment, and manage cash drops responsibly.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Previous bartending experience is essential.
  • Ability to comprehend verbal English for basic guest requests.
  • Ability to read written English for safety notices and instructions.
  • Capability to lift and transport up to 75 lbs. in a busy environment.
  • Ability to move or push items weighing up to 200 lbs. using a hand cart/truck.
  • A combination of education, training, or experience that meets the required skills and abilities; a High School diploma is preferred.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

Additional Information:
The resort operates seven days a week, and employees may need to adjust their shifts based on business needs. We maintain a drug-free workplace and require pre-employment and criminal background checks. We participate in E-Verify. EOE/M/F/D/V.
