Job Title: Child Development Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Child Development Director to join our team at YWCA Of Lancaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of educational programs that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Establish a safe and nurturing environment that promotes positive relationships among children, parents, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • PA Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education.
  • 2+ years of experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
