As a Clinical Care Specialist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in Pre-admission Testing, working collaboratively with and under the direction of the Director of Pre-Admission Testing or their designee.

The responsibilities of this role are primarily performed at one location, but the associate may be required to occasionally work at an alternate site.

This position requires providing service to the following age population(s):

toddler to frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Education/Training/Experience:

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited PA program, hold a Bachelor's Degree, and possess training and experience commensurate with the expectations of the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia.

It is preferred that the candidate will have experience in inpatient anesthesiology, and experience performing H&Ps, reviewing and acting on test results, and coordinating care with clinical colleagues.

It is required that the candidate will maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, be currently certified and maintain certification as a Physician Assistant from The National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants.

CPR certification is required. Employment is contingent upon the EHS and EMCM Boards of Trustees granting adjunct professional clinical privileges.
