ANR Group Inc is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer.
Position Overview
This role is primarily focused on the design and implementation of fluid and gas systems within complex process facilities. The selected candidate will work closely with the Mechanical Systems team to ensure all designs meet the necessary technical standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Mechanical Systems team to design and develop fluid and gas systems.
2. Assist in executing discipline work processes in compliance with company standards and industry codes.
3. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including reports, design specifications, and calculations utilizing engineering software.
4. Develop design documents such as piping and instrument diagrams and equipment data sheets that adhere to safety and design requirements.
5. Interface with various engineering disciplines and clients to facilitate design development.
6. Provide guidance to Designers and Technologists in the execution of their tasks.
7. Address and resolve technical challenges related to the discipline, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
8. Support safety analyses and hazard evaluations to maintain high-quality standards in nuclear facility operations.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in related fields, including fluid system design and equipment specification.
- Familiarity with quality assurance programs and industry standards such as ASME B31.3 and ISO-9000.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
