Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front-end operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive and engaging customer experience by providing exceptional service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Associates to achieve sales goals, promote loyalty programs, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the front-end, including assigning registers, supporting POS coverage, and coordinating breaks for Associates.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to Associates on customer service, sales techniques, and store policies.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain a safe and secure store environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure seamless store operations, provide progress updates, and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience: 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
