Position: Senior Calypso Developer

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Calypso
  • 10+ years of Java development experience
  • 7+ years of expertise in Capital Markets

Role Overview:

The Senior Calypso Developer will leverage their extensive experience with Calypso APIs (version 16 or higher) to design and implement robust solutions. A deep understanding of the Calypso Trading Platform, its architecture, and functional aspects is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Calypso Frameworks for customization, including Messaging, Accounting, and Workflows.
  • Apply functional knowledge of Capital Markets concepts and trade lifecycles across various asset classes.
  • Engage in Calypso Integrated deployment and custom development initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into effective Calypso technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide L2 & L3 support, along with maintenance and enhancements of applications.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Core Java 8 or later
  • Strong SQL knowledge, particularly in Oracle
  • Familiarity with Junit and mock frameworks
  • Experience with JBoss, Maven, Gradle, and basic Linux scripting
  • Willingness to learn new technologies as needed
