We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer or Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This position will be part of our Avionics Integration Organization and will involve leading the supplier management process for the development, production, and sustainment of Triton RADAR and SIGINT systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the execution of all phases of supplier performance, including planning, proposals, new capability development, production, testing, deliveries, and sustainment.
- Conduct or coordinate reviews of supplier documentation, such as technical evaluations of proposals, acceptance test procedures, cost and schedule reports, and software version description documents.
- Generate and review Supplier Statements of Work (SSoW).
- Track delivered assets and manage repairs/RTVs.
- Report supplier status to Program Managers, GSC managers, and IPT Management.
- Perform EO/IR, RADAR, and SIGINT subsystem analysis, documentation of system requirements, and interfaces with traceability to platform requirements.
- Work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, interfacing with IPT leadership, suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines.
- Coordinate the identification, tracking, and resolution of all risks, issues, and opportunities, including root cause/corrective action of technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience with requirements development and requirements allocation/flow down.
- Ability to draft and evaluate Supplier Statements of Work.
- Active in-scope, DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance once in position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP).
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Understanding of EO/IR, RADAR, SIGINT, and/or AIS sensor operation and data products, including image analysis.
- Experience with Air-to-Ground SIGINT systems.
- Experience in Supplier Management.
- Signals Intelligence expertise and experience.
- RADAR expertise and experience.
- Experience leading a team of engineers.
- Operational experience.
- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to prioritize disparate tasks.
Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $87,200 - $130,800, with the potential for a discretionary bonus. We also provide a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
