Job Description

As a Department Supervisor at The Home Depot, you will play a critical role in ensuring customers receive excellent service and can easily find the merchandise they need. You will train, coach, and develop associates in each department to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop associates to provide excellent customer service
  • Provide valuable input into merchandising decisions to the Store Management Team and Operations Team
  • Lead and develop others to achieve departmental goals
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

Department Supervisors at The Home Depot have the opportunity to work in various store departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Gardening, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Pro Account Sales, Tool Rental, Front End, Freight, Receiving, Associate Support, Special Services, and Merchandising Execution.
