Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Department: Women and Infant Services
Shift: Full-Time Days; including rotating weekends
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care for assigned patient populations in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and established clinical protocols.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize independent judgment to provide high-quality nursing services.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Guide non-nursing personnel and participate in educational initiatives.
- Engage in community outreach efforts as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient care records.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid Texas LVN license.
- Relevant nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Certification Requirements:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
