Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth North Pinellas. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients, and assisting with clerical duties. You will also be responsible for providing basic patient care within your scope of practice and adhering to departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic imaging procedures using established protocols and facility policies.
  • Position patients and operate imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Screen patients for contrast allergies and educate patients concerning exams.
  • Perform clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
  • Provide basic patient care, including monitoring patient condition, caring for patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Obtain and document patient history and explain procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A.R.R.T. registration.
  • General Radiographer state license as required by state if applicable.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position working day shifts with weekend availability as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 and relocate before starting work.
