We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool Unit at Fort Washington Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Mentor and educate colleagues and students on best practices in patient care.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure patients' needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technologies to provide the best possible care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid Maryland RN license required.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
- Two years of current Med Surg experience or related acute care experience.
This is a 24-hour per week position with a four-week schedule. All Float Pool staff must maintain a weekend commitment within a four-week period.
