Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline
  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' requirements
  • Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Offer individual and group counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral issues
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance student development and welfare
  • Engage in student support teams and assist in creating intervention strategies
  • Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed
  • Advocate for students' mental health and well-being within the educational community

Certifications:

  • Massachusetts School Psychologist license
  • National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred but not mandatory
