Inventory Control Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead our inventory management team and drive success in our rapidly expanding global operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to inventory management, including inventory movement, stocking, re-stocking, and accounting for every item in each warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the inventory control team and ensure work aligns with standard operating procedures.
  • Develop, standardize, and document inventory management best practices and workflows.
  • Ensure standard inventory movement/control protocols are followed based on operational workflows.
  • Evaluate, improve, and provide recommendations on areas such as proper bin and location sizing, location labeling, adjustment prices, proper inventory segments, cycle count, aged inventory, etc.
  • Train and coach supporting inventory teams to ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Manage feedback and job expectations.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Requirements:

  • Experience in transportation, warehouse, distribution, tech/electronics, or a related environment.
  • Experience architecting an inventory control program from scratch, including cycle counts, WMS, PI, variance reconciliation, etc.
  • Experience in a managerial role.
  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of inventory control, including cycle counting, physical inventory execution, receiving, cosmetics inspection, variance reconciliation, etc.
  • Ability to travel internationally/domestically on a quarterly basis.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
