Deliver radiation therapy services to patients undergoing oncology treatment, including evaluation, intervention, documentation, and patient education, under the guidance of a radiation therapy supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer radiation therapy in accordance with physician directives and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Construct patient immobilization devices to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports related to patient care.
• Execute various radiation therapy procedures while adhering to established standards and protocols.
• Uphold safety measures throughout treatment processes.
• Provide clinical mentorship to student radiation therapists.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Board Eligible status.
- No previous experience necessary.
