Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team at Hyundai Mobis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining internal and external quality processes based on industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and required quality standards.
- Comply with Mobis product development process and international standard system.
- Analyze, evaluate, and present information concerning factors such as production capabilities, quality issue trends, customer complaints, and 4M changes.
- Assign work and coordinate activities of all subordinate employees.
- Suggest and debate alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing customer requirements.
- Review product design for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Generate regular issue reports to Mobis Senior Management.
- Support all Quality Engineering initiatives, including Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, etc.
- Cooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
- Manage processing, approve documentation, and provide instructions regarding Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for customers.
- Interface with process engineering, manufacturing plant, and customers on new product/process launches.
- Understand the HMGMA assembly process related to MAL-SV Module processes in Just In Sequence.
- Present Quality Improvement plans and countermeasures to Mobis and HMGMA senior management.
- Reviews reporting on quality problems or trends for suppliers and leads the corrective action processes for Supplier issues.
- Coordinates and performs process audits for supplier qualifications or process changes.
- Complies with and promotes safety in the workplace.

Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Over 2 years as a Quality Manager or over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment internal and external dealing suppliers and customers
- Knowledgeable in training techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Years of quality experience in the automotive industry such as: Module (Chassis, Cockpit, Front end) or Parts (Injection/steel parts in vehicles)
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in required with strong preference in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering area.
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma Black/Green Belt
- Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / Mobis
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Domestic / International travel required
Working Conditions:
- Office and production line, some walking and standing within and between buildings
