We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Server at New Perspective. As a key member of our dining team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents and guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional service and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of our menu and make recommendations to residents, ensuring their dining experience is tailored to their preferences.
  • Take food and drink orders from residents with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Ensure residents are enjoying their meals and address any issues promptly, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collect payment from residents and guests when necessary, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Enter orders into our POS system for transmittal to the kitchen team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service.
  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming and hygiene standards, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Practice safe food handling skills, adhering to all regulatory procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform dining room checklists to ensure readiness, cleanliness, safety, and department of health compliance.
  • Assist with dining room set-up and re-set of tables, ensuring a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
  • Be knowledgeable of specialty diet needs of residents and know where to obtain such information, ensuring accurate and safe food preparation.
Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, dining hospitality, and/or full-service senior living preferred.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver orders in a timely fashion, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service.
