Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and care.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Develop and implement care plans using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
  • Re-evaluate and Revise Care Plans: Re-evaluate and revise care plans according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Other Duties: Perform other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current LPN License: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray: Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS Card: Current BLS card.
  • Prior Experience: One year prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
Skills
  • Tracheostomy Care: Experience with tracheostomy care.
  • Ventilator Management: Experience with ventilator management.
